Bio

Ava M. Sigman is an Associate Attorney in ZKS’s commercial litigation practice group, advocating for the interests of ZKS’s wide variety of commercial clients.

Ava clerked with ZKS during the summer of 2019 and was hired by the firm upon graduating cum laude from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While in law school, Ava had the honor of clerking for 9th Circuit Court Judges Don Myers and Bob LeBlanc. Ava was also heavily involved in UF’s academic extracurriculars. She served as a Managing Editor on The Florida Law Review and anticipates the forthcoming release of her first legal publication through the Florida Law Review in 2021. She competed on behalf of UF’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, specializing in mediation competitions and client advocacy. She also served as a teaching assistant in both Legal Writing and Legal Research courses. In 2017, Ava received her bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in English and minoring in Rhetoric.
