ZKS Shareholder, Joanne Prescott, was recently named Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of The Florida Bar. The Workers’ Compensation Section provides a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas leading to the improvement of individual trial abilities in workers’ compensation cases.

Joanne Prescott has been Board Certified as an expert in the area of workers’ compensation by the Florida Bar and is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale Hubbell. 

Joanne’s state-wide practice includes counseling and defending insurance companies, third party administrators and employers in both workers’ compensation and employment matters. This includes perfecting claims for reimbursement from the Special Disability Trust Fund on behalf of her clients.  Joanne’s client-base includes governmental entities, PEO’s, staffing companies, religious organizations, large retailers, trucking companies and construction companies.
