ZKS In the Community

| September 29, 2017

Shareholder Kevin Lienard enjoys spending his time out of office coaching for the Special Olympics Florida – Seminole County.   Kevin and his family became involved with the Special Olympics after his daughter Emily started working with Best Buddies, an organization that creates one to one friendships between individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities.

At present, Kevin coaches two softball teams in the summer/fall and two basketball teams in the winter/spring.  Making it a true family affair, Kevin’s son Scott announces at the games!  Scott enjoys announcing the players and assisting with the play by play of the games.  Additionally, Kevin and Scott work together to do the opening ceremony at the local softball tournament!

Recently Kevin has furthered his commitment to this organization by participating in and fundraising for the Annual Special Olympics Florida – Seminole County Golf Classic presented by Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe.  This event, held on October 29th, 2017, is the organization’s largest fundraiser and brings together members of the community to participate in a round of golf while supporting a local nonprofit.

If you would like to participate in the Golf Classic, please register here.

ZKS is honored to employ caring, giving individuals, like Kevin, who strive to give back to their local communities.
