Attorney CHRISTINE L. WEINGART Joins ZKS

Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe (ZKS) is pleased and excited to announce the recent addition of attorney Christine L. Weingart to the firm. Ms. Weingart, practices in the areas of tax and general business law, and joins the firm’s corporate section. 

Christine, a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in Tax Law, brings experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions,  sales of businesses, reorganizations, tax controversies, and personal tax representation of off-shore and unreported assets with respect to the IRS. She holds her B.A, J.D. and LL.M., an advanced law degree in taxation, from the University of Florida. 

Ms. Weingart is a frequent speaker on topics relating to corporate and tax matters, including state law legislative updates, tax consequences of debt workouts and restructurings, and the requirements for qualification as a real estate professional for the passive activity loss rules.  She has written for local and national publications on tax and corporate topics, and co-authors a regular column on Tax Tips for the Journal of Pass Through Entities.  In addition, she is a member of the Tax Sections of both The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association.

Christine Weingart is involved with several charitable organizations in the Central Florida community, and currently serves as President of the Florida 4-H Club Foundation, Inc., a not for profit corporation which supports the statewide 4-H Youth Development Program in association with the University of Florida IFAS Extension.
