Joanne M. Prescott, a Florida Bar board certified workers’ compensation attorney and shareholder with Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe, P.A., was a featured speaker at The 2014 Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Forum, a three day education event held April 9-11 in Orlando, Florida.  Prescott spoke on the topics of Temporary Indemnity Benefits and Average Weekly Wage.  

Prescott is currently serving as Secretary of the Executive Council of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.  She has received numerous awards and recognitions over the course of her career, including the distinction of being one of Florida’s Legal Elite as named by Florida Trend magazine and a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyer magazine.  Other honors include recognition for her pro bono work with the Legal Aid Society as a guardian ad litem.  Prescott is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law.
