Kevin Robinson & Scott Baker Named As Shareholders

Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe is proud to announce that Kevin P. Robinson and D. Scott Baker have been elected as shareholders of the firm effective January 1, 2013.

Kevin Robinson holds his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law and a B.A. from Cornell University.  Scott Baker earned his J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law, a M.S. from University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Florida State University.  

Kevin, a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to practice before state and federal courts throughout Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court, practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation. He assists financial institutions, large and small businesses, developers, contractors, insurance companies, and other corporate and individual clients in various contractual, business, real estate, and commercial disputes.  Robinson’s diversified practice includes work in the areas of general commercial litigation, appellate advocacy, construction law, debt collection and foreclosures, landlord/tenant litigation, intellectual property litigation, employment litigation, and other real property litigation in both state and federal court.

Scott, a member of The Florida Bar, participating in the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the Environmental and Land Use Law Section, maintains a diverse practice within the ZKS Real Estate section. As a former Chief Planner for the City of Orlando, a significant component of his practice involves land use approvals, due diligence, and regulatory compliance. In recent years, his knowledge and experience have proved especially useful to lenders and property owners facing unique challenges related to loan workouts, bankruptcies, and foreclosures.
