Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe was proud to sponsor and attend the Victory Cup Initiative event that was held February 7th, 2018.  The Victory Cup Initiative is a platform where companies come together for philanthropic investing with a twist.  This unique event is designed to provide a high-profile opportunity for charitable organizations to tell their stories, build their strategies and partner with business and community leaders to make a difference in Central Florida.

During the event, the top ten selected nonprofits will present a 2 minute, 30 second pitch on who they are, how they change lives and how they serve the community.  The presentations are given to a room full of philanthropists who live vote on who should win.  The top prize awarded is $20,000; second is $15,000 and third is $10,000.  The remaining 7 nonprofits all receive $1000.

The event is an extraordinarily moving experience for those who get to attend.  The presenters are captivating and engaging.  The amount of hard work and dedication that the nonprofits put into, not only their speeches, but to their organizations is incredible.

Congratulations to Cannonball Kids’ Cancer, who placed first, and all the other remarkable participants at this year’s event!
