Jason Byrd is an Associate who focuses his practice on diverse areas of general commercial and corporate litigation, as well as employment law, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. His practice includes the representation of financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, construction contractors and subcontractors, business owners, and other corporate clients.
Jason graduated magna cum laude from Jacksonville University with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Economics. He began law school at Florida State University’s College of Law in 2013. During his time at FSU, Jason served as a Moot Court Specialist for the National Black Law Students Association, won the Regional and National Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competitions, and served as a Research Assistant to one of his professors. Jason also was an active member of the school’s Moot Court team where he competed in constitutional law, antitrust, and prison litigation competitions.
